• Click on the DOWNLOAD icon from the screen that appears

• Select SAVE THIS PROGRAM TO DISK and click OK

This process will save the upgrade to your hard drive. In order to apply the upgrade you will need to open and run the file when the download is completed. 

We recommend that you save the file in a location that you can access it from easily later. A good location to save this file is the DESKTOP on the computer. 

To alter the location where the file will be saved click on the field SAVE IN and select 
DESKTOP as per the example below.

• Click SAVE to continue

A status screen will be displayed that shows the file being downloaded to your computer. The time required to download the patch will vary depending upon the speed of your internet connection. The file is 2.3MB in length and on average will take 15 minutes to download.

Running the upgrade

IMPORTANT

Before running the upgrade Sherpa software must be installed 

• Close the software on your PC if it is open
• Remove the CD from the CD ROM drive if it is inserted
• Empty the RECYCLE BIN from your PC if you have old copies of the software in it

Now that you have copied the upgrade from the Internet to your computer we need to INSTALL the upgrade to the Software.

If you have saved the upgrade to the desktop per the previous instructions it should be displayed on the desktop.

• Double click on the file to run the upgrade and follow the on screen instructions.
• Check the version of software installed on the PC.
• Select HELP and About from the command menu located at the top of the screen.
